Beauty and the Beast Theater of the Stars

Theater of the Stars; Beauty and the Beast

Location: Sunset Boulevard
Ride Type: Broadway-style show

If Broadway shows are your thing, and you live too far from New York or don't want to pay those prices to see the real thing, this is a great replacement.

Our Rating(Out of 5):
Presentation
The movie literally comes to life on the stage and has Disney magic written all over it. No theming however to really make this the best.
3.5
Guest Appeal
Everyone in the group can enjoy this attraction...period.
5
Disney World Veteran Rating
A gem by Disney's standards.
4
Teen Rating
Despite the superb performance teens may not find this the most entertaining, especially with the Tower of Terror and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster a few short feet away.
3
Lasting Appeal
If you enjoy plays, you'll want to see this over and over.

Full Description: In the grand tradition of Disney's Broadway plays(Lion King, Aida, Beauty and the Beast), Theater of the Stars replicates it on smaller scale. It combines Disney characters and songs with a Hollywood musical. The current showing, Beauty and the Beast is wonderful. Every age group will be entertained with this and it's just amazing that your one day admission to the park also covers this. If you like Disney(and if you dont, then why are you at the park to begin with?) then you will love this.

Comments: I'm not a musical fan, but this and Little Mermaid really allow me to enjoy these sort of things. It's fun, enjoyable and memorable. You'd be really surprised how many people, who write off musicals and plays as boring. Enjoy this and rank it among the Tower of Terror or Rock 'n' Rollercoaster.

My only complaint about this attraction is the lack of theming. From Sunset Boulevard to the entrance, it maintains that Hollywood look to it. I'd rather have seen something along the lines of getting lost in the Hollywood Hills and coming up on the castle where you hear the story of Beauty & The Beast. I suppose Disney's reasoning for keeping it the way it is, is because eventually this will be replaced by another play.

See this in the evening so you can relax a bit and enjoy some high class entertainment.
