Special Events
From time to time, special events are held in the Disney's Hollywood Studios. They range tremendously in subject, but are usually quite fun. Check back often as the status of events changes from day to day.

| Fall 2008 | Little Ones Travel Time | From September 6 through October 28, Walt Disney World® Resort will host Little Ones Travel Time. During this special travel time, your family can dance and sing with Playhouse Disney in Concert presented by HUGGIES® and PULL-UPS®. Playhouse Disney favorites - The Doodlebops™, Johnny and the Sprites and Dan Zanes - are just a few of the acts scheduled to appear. There will also be special Disney entertainment created just for you and your little one. |
| October 25, 2008 | Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 13K | This is a night race in the Endurance Series at Walt Disney World Resort. This race is a part of the celebration of the 13th Anniversary of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ attraction. |

| November 2008 | Thanksgiving |
For Thanksgiving, Walt Disney World actually offers two holidays in one. On Thanksgiving Day, selected full-service restaurants in the theme parks and resorts serve guests traditional Thanksgiving dinners. Meanwhile, during Thanksgiving week, Disney Cast Members work overtime to transform all of Walt Disney World into a Christmas wonderland with special holiday entertainment and events. |

| 12/31/2008 - 1/1/2009 | New Years | The holiday season ends with the magic and excitement people have come to expect from Disney. On New Year’s Eve, the theme parks stay open into the wee hours with park-wide celebrations and midnight fireworks shows. Disney's Hollywood Studios hosts dance parties, live music, and a special fireworks show. |

In celebration of America's birthday, the Studios have featured a firework extravaganza, which are the longest and most extravagant of the summer. In addtion, Flags are raised and bunting draped for Independence Day around the Studios. |
