Comments:
This playground is really geared towards children more than
adults. That being the case, you can let your kids run
free in here while you relax outside and wait for them to come
as there are Disney staff on hand inside. The somewhat small,
padded play area is themed after the hit movie. And due to its
size, it has a very limited capacity, mostly due to people who
dont know what it is and come in to see.
Lines usually persist throughout the afternoon, however, there is another reason not to go on this in the afternoon. Much like any play area at your local McDonalds, the surfaces tend to get hot from the sun and makes it uncomfortable. Add very little ventihilation and you'll quickly want out.
Again, due to the limited capacity, you'll find during busier hours that you may have to wait for room to become available. There is no one inside telling guests when to leave so there will probably be alot of stragglers. Probably the only reason to send your kids here would be if they have too much energy or aren't adept to the "big rides" and want something more to their taste.
Gripes aside, the attention to detail
is amazing and to Disney's credit, they've recreated the world of
being an inch tall or so very well. You might consider going in
briefly even if you do not have children with you for the photo
opportunities. For parents who wait for their children outside,
a good idea is to wait for them in the shaded Backlot
Express where you can cool down and grab a refreshment or a
quick bite to eat.
