Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner

Min and Bill’s Dockside Diner is located in the Echo Lake section of Hollywood Studios. It is a big ship with a window cut out on its side to order food from. The name of the diner comes from the movie Min and Bill from the 1930’s. Min was the owner of a dockside hotel therefore the name. They sell a frankfurter in a pretzel roll, chicken caesar sandwich, Italian sausage sandwich, shakes, cookies and assorted drinks. The diner is also on the Disney Dining Plan.

We ordered the frankfurter and the chicken caesar sandwich.  The frankfurter was good and I liked the pretzel roll it came in. My husband had the chicken caesar sandwich and he liked it but felt there was way too much dressing on it and wished he had ordered it on the side. Both orders came with chips. We went in early afternoon and there wasn’t a wait at all for this counter service. They had a few tables out front with umbrellas which help to get out of the sun, but if it were busier there would be trouble finding seating.

I think Min and Bill’s is a good place to be able to grab a quick sandwich if you are in a hurry and don’t want to wait in long lines. The food was decent and what you would expect to get on the go.
