Look up

Welcome back to this week’s The Darkroom, where we show off photos from Disney’s Hollywood Studios that have a common theme.  Our theme this week is "look up" and we have lots of entries to look over.

Welcome back to this week’s The Darkroom, where we show off photos from Disney’s Hollywood Studios that have a common theme.  Our theme this week is "look up" and we have lots of entries to look over.

Our first photo is from the Stage One store, near Muppetvision 3D and looking up, we see a recreation of a scene from the Great Muppet Caper movie.  I love this sort of detail, such as all the Muppets clothing out for drying.

If you happen to look up near the entrance to the Backlot Tour, you’ll notice this relic from the old days of the Studios.  It’s a walkway between soundstages that you may have walked through if you were on the old Backlot Tour.  Today it isn’t accessible to guests, but kind of cool to see these classic logos.

Bonus points for creativity in this photo.  It’s a great shot of looking up at the Tower of Terror‘s exterior while in the fountain area of the Tower of Terror queue.  For first time riders, it’s one of many times that you could look around and think "something is definitely wrong here.."

While I’m doling out bonus points, gotta give a few to Bonnie for her photo here because I have no idea where it’s from in the Studios.  Given it’s a chicken, I’m inclined to guess Muppetvision 3D, but I don’t recall where I’ve seen rafters like that.  As the tree said to the lumberjack, I’m stumped!

Be sure to send us your photos for next week, which will feature the theme of "crowded".  Any photos you may have from Hollywood Studios that you think fits into the theme of "crowded" can be sent to us to be featured in this column.
