America

Hope you had a great July 4th weekend for those of you in the United States and to celebrate this past weekend's festivities, this week's Hollywood Studios photo assignment is "America".

This photo is of the Good Morning America billboard that is located above The Writer's Stop.  It's since been updated to reflect the current GMA cast, but this certainly fits this week's theme.  Good choice!

Considering this week's theme is "America", it's hard to ignore a photo of an attraction that has the theme in its name.  The American Idol Experience is a good example of this and we're seeing I presume to be the finale show from outside the attraction and it's pretty cool to see people watching the show from outside nearly every evening and really into it.

In the photo above, I mentioned you can't ignore an attraction that has the theme in its name and here's another example.  The Streets of America are a great place to walk around and admire the attention to detail that make it feel like you're in New York or San Francisco.  My favorite detail is the sound effects you hear like a city bus stopping, traffic and other typical sounds of a city.

Be sure to send us your photos for next week, which will feature the theme of "Look up".  Any photos you may have from Hollywood Studios that you think fits into the theme of "Look up" can be sent to us to be featured in this column.
