Disney's Hollywood Studios is home to some new designer cupcakes for the holidays.

First we have for the month of November, pumpkin cupcakes with maple icing topped with sugared pecans and Mickey Ears.

Next for the month of December are gingerbread cupcakes with cream cheese icing, holiday sprinkles and a Minnie Mouse Santa hat.

Both of these cupcakes are $4.99 and available as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan.  You can...

Two new food kiosks have popped up around Disney's Hollywood Studios to help spread the crowds around for the week of Christmas and New Years.

Returning to the Backlot area is an Italian food kiosk located near the exit to Muppet Vision 3D and the Phineas and Ferb meet-n-greet area.  This Italian food kiosk had previously appeared in the same area last year and offers a similar menu of basic pasta and soup.  As is also last year, this is a recycled Epcot Food & Wine Festival booth and is called "Ristorante Italiano".

Back in April, I blogged about Bucky Greenhorn leaving to join the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue ( http://www.studioscentral.com/blog/2011/04/15/studios-says-aloha-bucky-greenhorn    .. Bucky G)) I recently had the delightful opportunity to attend a dress rehearsal for another Hoop Dee Doo, to see some new changes to the show and some new faces, including that of Melvin Macheezmo! Now, before you get you knickers in a twist, let me calm you by saying Melvin is not moving in with his best friend Bucky and leaving Hollywood. Upon entering Hollywood Studios the smell of popcorn and other goodies welcomes you. It is almost instantly your mind starts to become excited about what you will be eating while in the park. For vegetarians it is not as complicated as it used to be. Through the years, Disney has done a great job of adding...

A new fod kiosk has been added to the Backlot area of the park, near the exit to Muppetvision 3D.  The food kiosk serves Italian food that is cooked at Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano nearby and offers a few basic options for those looking for a quick meal.

Called "Ristorante Italiano", the kiosk appears to be a former Epcot Food and Wine Festival booth and was added to help deal with the higher crowds anticipated for the busy Christmas and New Years...
