Tales from the Bench: Halloween Happenings in Hollywood

Today we take a look back at last year's spooky celebrations on Sunset Boulevard. But while most might connect the Halloween holiday with the Tower of Terror, this past October was the ever eventful month for our Citizens of Hollywood.

Today we take a look back at last year's spooky celebrations on Sunset Boulevard. But while most might connect the Halloween holiday with the Tower of Terror, this past October was the ever eventful month for our Citizens of Hollywood.

First was the pumpkin carving contest. The cast members of Disney's Hollywood Studios had a competition to see which team could create the best Jack-o-Lantern. After days of judging, it led up to the final round, this time judged by the park guests. The finalists were:

At the end of the day, they held an awards ceremony led by none other than the Vice President of Hollywood Studios himself, Rilous Carter.

Congratulations, Rosie!

Later in the month, a mom (Jessica Kavanagh) made homemade costumes for her three kids for every day they would be in Walt DIsney World. On the day they went to DIsney's Hollywood Studios, she dressed them as the CItizens of Hollywood Bucky Greenhorn, Paige Turner and Talulla "Tutti" Fruiti. Before the parade, the Citizens honored them as the winners of the "Hollywood Look-alike" contest.
