Disney has rolled out new designer burgers to help create new flavors to their existing burger line across Walt Disney World. In Hollywood Studios, there are three locations where you can find these new options.
Backlot Express: 1/3lb Angus Avocado Cheeseburger topped with diced avocado, sweet onion ring, lettuce, tomato and special sauce
ABC Commissary: Angus Cheeseburger crowned with fried shrimp - a cheddar cheeseburger topped with fried shrimp, a sweet onion ring, tomato, pickle, lettuce and a special sauce.
Rosie’s All-American Cafe: Cheddar burger with fried onion rings, tomato, pickle, lettuce and special sauce.
I had a chance to try the avocado burger at Backlot Express last month but it wasn't as good as I hoped. The avocado is more guacamole than say a slice of avocado and the burger patty is the same tired, once frozen slab of beef that is found everywhere at Walt Disney World.
Overall, the condiment helped but it couldn't make up for the sub-par burger itself. You can still order the burgers plain at any of these locations and forgo the "designer" aspect.
